What is well-being?

Wellbeing:the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy.

Feelings of wellbeing are vital to the overall health of a person, it enables them to successfully overcome difficulties and achieve what they want out of life.

Over the years wellbeing has become more and more important to people, yet, from all that facts show that people are no happier than they were in the 1950s. So, what are we doing wrong?

Most people think that success leads to happiness, but research shows this formula is backward: happiness fuels success, not the other way around. By being happy yourself it can influence up to 15% of the happiness of the people we know – wellbeing is contagious.

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It can affect how we think, feel, and act. It can also help determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. So, mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through to adulthood.
